East 80 London Ky Yardsale Hot Dog Chili
While going to the London yard sales that they have every Labor Day weekend we went to a area church who was selling hot dogs along with their yard sale items. Let me tell you this was some good hot dogs so the lady very kindly gave us her chili recipe. This really surprised me as most people do not like to give out their recipes. Me, I am glad to give anyone a recipe that I have as that is just part of being kind to people and part of being southern. So here is her recipe for the chili. If you do not like your chili sweet you can cut back on the sugar or leave it out. Me, I like the sweet taste of it as it is very good hot dog chili.

Best if this is made in a crockpot.
Lift up your foot, Laughing at my daughter
My son had bought my daughter a sewing machine for Christmas around two years ago and with her moving she had put it up. So he ask if she had used it yet. No, she told him. So he told her to bring it over with her when she came to visit him.
As he is a quilter he was going to show her how to thread up her machine. Of course now days most everything comes with a dvd to show you how to operate what you buy.
Since she had never opened the box she did not even know it was in there.
So they put in on and he was showing her how to thread it along with the dvd.
They got some material out for her to practice on. She came to the end of the material and he told her to lift up the foot so she could get the material out from under the plate.
She told him she had her foot lifted and he said no you don't so this went on for a few minutes as he was sitting beside her and could see the presser foot was not lifted.
What was she doing, lol, lifting her foot up off of the paddle that lets it run. We all looked down and there she was had her foot up in the air.

Talking about laughing we did. That was a good one.
So if you are sewing and don't know what a foot it it is the part where the needle goes down into the plate and you let the back handle down to hold the material in place. Just don't lift up your big foot off of the paddle lol.......

WHAT WILL SHE SAY NEXT (LOL)
We all love Dr.Oz. There is just so much you can learn from him. Even the little ones love him.
My grandaughter came running to her mom the other day and said mom I am not feeling good. So she ask what was hurting her and she said I am hurting here. So she pointed to where her breast is supposed to be.
My daughter said are you hurting bad and she said yes. So she lifts up her shirt and could not see nothing wrong with her.
I think I need to go to ER. Why, because I think I have got breast cancer. Breast cancer, how can you have breast cancer when you don't even have any breast yet. I was watching Dr. Oz and I think I have got breast cancer like he was talking about.
So she kept telling her she was all right and she then went outside and started playing.
How many times do we watch a medical program and think we have got just what they are talking about, if you are like me almost every time. lol.
